Early Years and KS2 Educator

Opogo seeks an experienced Early Years and KS2 Educator to work with students in Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engaging and inclusive lesson plans, fostering a positive and stimulating classroom environment, and promoting academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver lessons across the KS1 and KS2 curriculum, ensuring high standards of education and student achievement
- Use adaptive teaching strategies to support students with varying learning needs, including those with SEND
- Regularly monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development and achievement
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to maintain a well-structured and inclusive classroom environment
- Effectively communicate with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of student progress and addressing any concerns or queries
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in primary education, particularly within KS1 and KS2
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive and respectful learning environment
- Familiarity with the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies for young learners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, staff, and parents
Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
