Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiographer to join our team at Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital. As a Senior Radiographer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services and leading a team of radiographers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Lead and manage a team of radiographers, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and radiography services.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Supervise and develop junior radiographers, providing training and mentorship to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of the radiography department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and services.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate qualification in diagnostic radiography or equivalent.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience of leading a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Knowledge of radiography equipment and technology, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest radiography techniques and technologies.
