About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Hedge Fund Operations Senior Associate to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational support to our client's multi-PM macro hedge fund, focusing on a diversified set of discretionary and systematic trading strategies.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide daily operational support to the portfolio management teams, including trade capture and P&L validation.
  • Review and monitor daily cash and position reconciliations, as well as trade settlements.
  • Support the investment and risk teams by responding to queries on individual account transactions and positions.
  • Act as liaison between the portfolio manager, counterparty, and administrator to ensure seamless interaction between all parties.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency in daily processes and month-end production.
  • Review and manage the accounting and valuation treatment for various asset classes, including equities, futures, fixed income securities, and OTC products.

Your Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience in hedge fund operations, financial institutions, or hedge fund administrator operations departments.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to become a subject matter expert.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, custom database environments, OMS/PMS environments, and Advent Geneva considered a plus.
