About the Role

Simpson Booth Limited is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Development Manager to lead its Project Management Organisation (PMO) and drive business growth in the nuclear industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective project management practices, ensuring the delivery of projects that meet customer needs and mitigate business risks.

The PMO encompasses line management of senior project managers and project control teams, ownership of project-related processes and reporting, governance and assurance, and resource planning.

This role requires a strong leader who can develop a robust and integrated project management culture across the company.

The Senior Project Development Manager will work closely with the Head of PMO, Heads of Business Lines, QHSE team, and resource managers to identify and allocate project managers to projects, develop integrated project management practices, ensure compliance with IMS and other project management requirements, and plan future resourcing needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective project management practices to ensure delivery of projects that meet customer needs and mitigate business risks
  • Lead the PMO and develop a strong and integrated project management culture across the company
  • Work closely with the Head of PMO, Heads of Business Lines, QHSE team, and resource managers to achieve project goals
  • Ensure compliance with IMS and other project management requirements
  • Plan future resourcing needs to support business growth
