About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Administration and Clerical Team Supervisor to join our team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This role will involve providing administrative support to the Cardiology & Respiratory Management Team and supervising administration and clerical staff.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be able to prioritize tasks effectively, and possess strong communication skills. They will also have experience in managing staff, coordinating projects, and working with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide administrative support to the Cardiology & Respiratory Management Team.
  2. Supervise and manage administration and clerical staff to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
  3. Ensure compliance with relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and hospital policies.
  4. Support the General Management Team in achieving National and Local Targets.
Requirements
  • GCSE A-C in English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent).
  • Relevant administrative qualifications or experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Environment

This role is based in a fast-paced hospital environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues, patients, and families to deliver high-quality care.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include a competitive pension scheme, annual leave entitlement, and training opportunities.
