Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in Inverclyde. This is a part-time position with 28 hours per week, offering flexible working opportunities.

As a Care Assistant, you will work closely with our social care services, supporting individuals with their daily needs and promoting independence. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and career through our comprehensive training and development programs.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

This role requires a satisfactory PVG check if working in regulated work (children and/or protected adults).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support service users with their daily needs and activities
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Prepare meals and snacks as required
  • Accompany service users on outings and activities
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
