About the Role

At Earlsferry House Care Home, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our care home, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Provide thorough domestic cleaning services, adhering to company policies and best practices.
  • Hygienic Work Practices: Perform all cleaning tasks in line with hygiene standards.
  • Floor Care: Clean and protect various floor surfaces.
  • Furniture and Fixtures: Clean and maintain furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Sanitary Maintenance: Clean and replenish sanitary fixtures and fittings.
  • Waste Management: Remove refuse regularly and dispose of it properly.
  • Vertical Surfaces: Clean vertical surfaces without using access equipment.
  • Resident Support: Assist with the daily well-being of residents.
  • Laundry Services: Manage laundry effectively, ensuring it meets guidance and expectations.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Follow health and safety protocols, infection prevention, and fire safety regulations.
