Job Description: Nutrition and Lifestyle Specialist

As a Nutrition and Lifestyle Specialist at Avature, you will be responsible for supporting service users to make sustainable changes to improve their overall health and wellbeing. You will provide individually tailored diet, nutrition, and behaviour change advice to service users/participants (adults and/or children, young people, and families).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing evidence-based dietary and behaviour change services via one-to-one and group-based service delivery
  • Supporting service users/participants to implement experiments, track behaviours, utilise tech-enabled support, make best use of resources, support each other, explore/use wider community provision and achieve their outcomes
  • Ensuring operational safety of weight management group programmes

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of principles of confidentiality and safeguarding
  • Excellent internal and external stakeholder engagement and management
  • Effective caseload management inclusive of accurate data collection, data entry, timely recording, and delivery against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum
