Job Title: Infrastructure Analyst / 3rd Line Support Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Analyst / 3rd Line Support Engineer to join our team at Comtecs Ltd. As a key member of our Wintel Engineering team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support for our global infrastructure landscape, focusing on Active Directory, AzureAD, and Powershell scripting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and operate core infrastructure services, including domain controllers, Active Directory, AzureAD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Support Azure hosted services and their integration with applications across the estate, including Conditional Access Policies, Role & Group Management, and Entra Connect/Authenticator.
  • Develop and implement Powershell scripts for automation and management of core infrastructure services in on-prem and Azure cloud environments.
  • Manage tickets via ServiceNow within a strict ITIL environment, adhering to established change management practices.
  • Liaise with various teams, including Network, InfoSec/CyberSec, Application, and 3rd Party vendors, as well as internal business teams.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience with domain controllers, Active Directory, and AzureAD, with a focus on 3rd Line Support Engineering tasks within ITIL environments.
  • Solid understanding and experience with AzureAD from an engineering and problem identification and resolution perspective.
  • Ability to write, manage, and edit Powershell scripts for automation and management of domain controllers and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a global professional services environment.
