Job Summary

Praxis Real Estate Management is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial property management team, you will be responsible for managing large-scale, complex projects and providing strategic advice to our Asset Management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of refurbishment and development projects
  • Provide strategic advice on planning, refurbishment, and construction
  • Conduct pre-acquisition due diligence and review building and M&E surveys
  • Advise on refurbishment costs and manage projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
  • Appoint and manage consultants, inspect properties, and negotiate settlements for dilapidations claims
  • Provide expert advice on building-related matters such as tenant alterations and repairs
  • Oversee planning processes, collaborate with external consultants, and liaise with authorities
  • Lead professional project teams and implement statutory procedures
  • Prepare design and contract documentation, manage tendering, contract administration, and financial control through to completion
  • Ensure compliance with Construction (Design and Management) Regulations
  • Coordinate with our internal project management team for effective scheme handover and management

Requirements
  • Proven experience in building surveying within commercial property management
  • Assertive leadership with the ability to guide external consultants and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a results-driven approach to delivering challenging projects
  • MRICS qualification or equivalent in building or project management
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and project management skills
  • A commitment to health and safety, financial compliance, and commercial awareness
