About the Role

The Compliance Function at OSB Group provides trusted and valued risk management services to the business, executive management, and the Board. We aim to deliver this through engaged employees who are committed to helping our customers, colleagues, and community prosper.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and business and control functions to ensure regulatory compliance strategic priorities are achieved.
  • Evolving and maintaining the framework to ensure robust, coordinated, and effective regulatory engagement across the Group.
  • Provide oversight and challenge on regulatory responses and notifications to facilitate a cohesive, complete, and effective approach to managing regulatory relations.
  • Provide the Group Board and Executive Committee with advice and guidance on specific regulatory matters and emerging areas of focus.
  • Brief executives and other key stakeholders ahead of key regulatory meetings.
  • Attend key regulatory meetings and minute the interactions to ensure adequate records are maintained and actions agreed are progressed and delivered.
  • Monitor, review, and report on performance against regulatory strategy and risk appetite.
  • Define, shape, and manage the Group's relationships with the supervisory authorities (e.g. PRA, FCA, Resolution Authority); and industry bodies including UK Finance.
What We Offer

We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £95,000 - £105,000 and a competitive benefits package including:

  • £7,500 car allowance
  • Discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 40%
  • Annual LTIP opportunity of up to 40%
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in regulatory affairs and supervisory engagement within UK retail banking or direct experience working at a banking regulatory authority.
  • Substantial experience of leading and managing a compliance team.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing successful regulatory strategies.
  • Considerable experience of direct contact with the FCA/PRA.
  • Substantial experience of undertaking Board and Senior Committee presentations.
