Support Worker for Students with Autism Spectrum Condition and Specific Learning Disability

I C Talent Ltd is seeking experienced Support Workers to work with students with Autism Spectrum Condition/ASC and Specific Learning Disability/SLD in a fantastic school located in Wisbech and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will be a child-centered approach, conscientious, and have experience working with SEND students. They will be required to tailor their approach to suit the needs of the children and work under the guidance of the classroom teacher.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support the classroom teacher in helping students with Autism Spectrum Condition/ASC and Specific Learning Disability/SLD
  2. Work in small groups with children who have medical needs
  3. Tailor your approach to suit the needs of the children

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with at least six months experience in UK Schools
  • Child-centered approach
  • Conscientious and consistent approach to challenging behaviour
  • Experience working with SEND students
