About the Role

As a key member of our team at RBW Consulting, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining our global IT infrastructure. This position requires close collaboration with our IT team and external vendors to ensure robust technical support for our internal users, manage and enhance technology platforms, and drive continuous improvements in IT capabilities and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Development: Lead the advancement of core infrastructure components, including cloud services, servers, networks, and security systems.
  • Technical Guidance: Offer guidance and technical input on infrastructure-related considerations for new projects, occasionally acting as the technical lead.
  • Post-Implementation Support: Provide ongoing support post-implementation for newly integrated technologies, overseeing testing, planning, execution, and optimization.
  • Cyber Security: Address cyber security and information assurance, assisting with inquiries and investigations, and advising on secure configuration of IT systems.
  • Business Requirements: Work with end-users to identify business requirements and propose optimal solutions.
  • Incident Management: Record and manage incident reports for system faults, coordinating with third-party providers as necessary.
  • Security Updates: Oversee the management and application of security updates and patches to infrastructure systems.
  • System Optimization: Ensure optimal system configuration, performance, and uptime.
  • Operations and Maintenance: Conduct routine operations, maintenance, support, and troubleshooting, prioritizing requests effectively.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Transfer knowledge to the internal IT support team, enabling them to handle first-line infrastructure support requests.
  • IT Function Evolution: Contribute to the ongoing evolution and improvement of IT function.
Requirements
  • Technical Experience: Proven experience in technical infrastructure maintenance and delivery.
  • Project Delivery: Strong project delivery skills, including change management, risk management, and progress reporting.
  • Windows Server: Proficiency with Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Enterprise Firewalls: Experience with enterprise firewalls, switches, and Wi-Fi systems.
  • Virtualization: Knowledge of virtualization technologies.
  • Microsoft Cloud: Proficiency with Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure (InTune, Autopilot, Azure, Entra, 365 Exchange).
  • Security Control: Familiarity with Microsoft Defender and Sentinel for security control and configuration.
  • Patch Management: Experience with WSUS for patch management.
  • Backup Technologies: Competence in backup technologies.
  • Technical IT Role: At least five years of experience in a technical IT role.
  • Network and Infrastructure: High proficiency in network and infrastructure technologies.
  • IT Department Functions: Solid understanding of IT Department functions and IT frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
