**Job Title:** Experienced Practice Bookkeeper

**Location:** South East England, Surrey

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper Specialist to manage the financial operations of our clients. As an experienced bookkeeper, you will be responsible for processing invoices, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations with precision.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting software, such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and FreeAgent. You will collaborate with accountants to provide seamless financial support to clients and offer insights and advice to help them streamline their financial processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage bookkeeping for a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations with precision.
  • Prepare VAT returns, management accounts, and assist with CIS and payroll tasks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using accounting software.
  • Collaborate with accountants to provide seamless financial support to clients.
  • Offer insights and advice to clients to help them streamline their financial processes.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years in a bookkeeping role within a small practice environment.
  • Qualifications: AAT Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred but not essential if you have solid experience.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and FreeAgent.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and an eye for detail to manage multiple client accounts.

Estimated Salary:** £25,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
