About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Health Nurse/Advisor to join our expanding team at TransPennine Express. As a key member of our Occupational Health department, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering an operational in-house service that supports the wellbeing and health of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake new starter medicals, drug and alcohol testing, and management referrals
  • Support the development of our wellbeing strategy and contribute to the delivery of occupational health services
  • Work closely with our Occupational Health provider to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on occupational health matters to management and employees
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to occupational health
Requirements
  • NMC registered nurse with a minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience
  • Experience as an Occupational Health Nurse/Advisor, with a strong background in case management
  • Knowledge and experience of dealing with mental health and musculoskeletal disorders
  • Ability to travel across the network on TransPennine Express trains within working hours
