Job Description

MUFG Bank, Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Risk Management Leader to join our team in Third-Party Risk Management. This role is responsible for leading the implementation of a comprehensive framework for managing third-party risk across the organization.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing ongoing TPRM processes, including overall oversight, escalation points, and single points of contact for vendor managers within business units.
  • Establishing reporting cadences, data analytics, and producing dashboard reporting and other reporting artifacts to proactively identify emerging risks, issues, or challenges.
  • Providing on-the-ground leadership and support, including coaching on areas of deficiency.
  • Liaising with procurement and vendor management teams as appropriate to maintain compliance standards and initiate risk assessments as required.
  • Managing internal audit and regulatory requests.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in risk management, preferably in a financial services industry context.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing effective TPRM frameworks and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive informed decision-making.
