Clear Engineering Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Systems Specialist to join our client, a leading provider of green energy solutions in the UK. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work on a variety of electrical systems, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and contribute to the company's mission of helping the UK transition to a net zero economy.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems, as well as working on BESS systems, battery storage, and industrial plant equipment. As a customer-facing role, excellent communication skills are essential. The position requires flexibility, with regular travel to surrounding areas and occasional overtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service, maintenance, and breakdowns of electrical systems
  • Work on BESS systems, battery storage, electrical fault finding and repairs (three-phase, drives, motors, PLCs)
  • Customer-facing role, providing excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Requirements:
  • Experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in electrical systems and industrial plant equipment
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, CHPs, battery storage, BESS, and similar technologies
  • Experience as a Service Engineer/Maintenance Engineer or Marine Engineer

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £35,300 - £36,700 basic, plus OTE up to £70K+ and additional benefits. The company offers a comprehensive package, including vehicle, training, technical progression, door-to-door pay, enhanced pension, and more.
