Job Title: Senior EC&I Designer

Job Summary:

Advanced Resource Managers is seeking an experienced Senior EC&I Designer to join our team. As a Senior EC&I Designer, you will provide technical guidance and support to a team of multi-disciplined designers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality designs that meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of designers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality designs.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of engineering and design practices, including CAD skills and good written and verbal communication.
  • Allocate tasks to team members, check their outputs, and ensure inter-discipline coordination in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Promote effective collaboration across design and other functional teams.
  • Assist in managing customer relationships, including liaison and relationship development with existing and new customers.
  • Advise on the selection of methods and tools for tasks and provide technical assistance to team members.
  • Contribute to the preparation and production of drawings in support of basic, detail, and production design.

Requirements:

  • HNC/HND minimum in a relevant discipline or equivalent academic qualification and experience in a detailed design environment.
  • Good knowledge of CAD tools and General Engineering Drawing Practice.
  • Integrated Competency Framework (ICF) to be demonstrated or being worked towards.
  • Demonstrable experience in technical leading of a multi-disciplined design team.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with other disciplines.
