Software Engineering Team Manager Position

Job Overview:
As a seasoned software professional, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of skilled software engineers at ZenoVO Ltd. The successful candidate will oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring exceptional standards in software development for maritime products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a high-performance team of embedded software engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and growth.
- Oversee the entire software development life cycle, from initial design to final implementation, guaranteeing quality and timely project delivery.
- Establish and maintain software development procedures to enhance team effectiveness and product quality.
- Drive innovation by guiding the development of new software products that meet client needs and market demands.
- Manage the software build process, ensuring seamless deployment of systems and applications.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
-A proven track record of leading software teams or having direct reports.
-Strong technical expertise in C++, C, GUI, Qt, and Microsoft Azure DevOps, CI/CD.
-Experience developing software on Linux OS and Windows environments.
Educational Background:
Degree in a relevant field, such as Software Engineering.
Notable Benefits: A competitive salary of £75,000-£90,000 per annum, discretionary bonus related to individual and company performance, private medical insurance, and hybrid working arrangements.
