We are seeking a highly skilled Virtualisation Expert to join our dynamic IT team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions to support our growing business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide 3rd line support for complex infrastructure issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to services.
  2. Design, implement, and maintain virtualised environments using Hyper-V and VMware technologies.
  3. Manage and optimise Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Azure.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.
  5. Support and monitor system performance, security, and backups.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement infrastructure strategies.
  7. Participate in capacity planning, system upgrades, and disaster recovery planning.
Key Requirements:
  1. Proven experience with 3rd line support and troubleshooting within complex infrastructure environments.
  2. Expertise in Hyper-V and VMware virtualisation technologies.
  3. Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, AD, Exchange, Azure).
  4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Strong communication skills with a team-oriented approach.
Desirable Skills:
  1. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and hybrid environments.
  2. Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
  3. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
