About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oncology Nurse to join our team at Spire Wellesley Hospital. As a key member of our Cancer Services Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing chemotherapy and other cancer treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care to patients with various types of cancer, working closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Manage and coordinate care provision in the Oncology Day Chemotherapy Centre, ensuring efficient and effective treatment delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to provide exceptional patient experience and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest cancer treatments and care standards.
Requirements
  • NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
  • Chemotherapy competence and experience with SACT.
  • Previous Oncology and chemotherapy experience required.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and patient care skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including earlies, late shifts, and long days.
