Job Description:
Tyre Safety Centre Ltd is a leading provider of tyre safety services, committed to delivering exceptional quality and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team in Cookstown.

About the Role:
This is a full-time permanent position, requiring a minimum of 3+ years of experience in mechanical advice, inspection, and repair of passenger and light commercial vehicles. As a Vehicular Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out domestic and light commercial vehicle repairs and servicing according to manufacturers' specifications and quality guidelines. You will also provide excellent customer service, conduct fault analysis, and implement effective solutions to resolve mechanical issues. Additionally, you will maintain a safe working environment and adhere to occupational health and safety procedures.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of passenger and light commercial vehicles to identify mechanical issues and provide recommendations for repair or maintenance.
- Carry out repairs and servicing of vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely completion of tasks.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on mechanical issues related to their vehicles, including diagnostic testing and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, responding promptly to queries and concerns, and offering quotations and pricing information as required.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in mechanical technology, applying this knowledge to improve services and products offered to customers.

Requirements and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a mechanic or equivalent role, preferably in a similar industry or sector.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and practices, including inspection, diagnosis, and repair of complex systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
