About the Role

Our Line Chefs are key members of our kitchen team, responsible for producing high-quality menu items in a fast-paced environment. This role reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and is part of a dynamic team based at our hotel in Haydock.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cook food items to specified recipes and standards, using a variety of cooking methods.
  • Facilitate special requests from guests, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Manage food wastage through accurate product measurement and inventory control.
  • Ensure compliance with all kitchen SOPs and health and safety regulations.
  • Set up and stock food items and other necessary supplies.

Requirements

An ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Demonstrable cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook, is essential. Familiarity with industry best practices and Basic Food Safety is also required.
