Business Data Analyst Job Description

We are seeking an experienced data driven business analyst to play a key part in delivering programme business outcomes by identifying, collecting and aggregating data requirements from stakeholders to summarise and present them for software development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis and Documentation: Ensure all data structures are analysed, documented, and aligned with business requirements.
  • Collaboration and Translation: Collaborate with business analysts, product managers and data architects to understand data needs and translate them into requirements.
  • Data Problem Solving: Analyse, understand, and define a data problem or opportunity.
  • Business Understanding: Undertake research and analysis to understand how a business area works, considering the people, organisation, processes, information, data and technology.
  • Improvement and Implementation: Identify areas for improvement, explore feasible options and define data driven ways of implementing business solutions.
  • Data Quality and Compliance: Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Data Model Alignment: Facilitate the alignment of data models with business process requirements.
