Drive business performance and customer satisfaction as an Assistant Manager at Halfords, the UK's leading retailer of motoring and cycling products and services. As a key member of our team, you'll work alongside the Centre Manager to provide productive management and leadership, driving profitability and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of technicians to deliver high-quality vehicle services and maintenance
  • Develop and implement effective coaching and training programs to enhance colleague performance
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across the workshop
  • Manage daily sales and customer service operations, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £26,175 to £29,000 per annum
  • An average uncapped bonus of £7,100 per year, with potential for higher earnings
  • 5 days a week, with opportunities for overtime and extra income through our refer-a-friend scheme
  • A range of benefits, including 5.6 weeks' annual leave, discounts on garage bills and Halfords products, and access to a health cash plan and pension scheme

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role, with a strong background in automotive operations and customer service
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Technical and mechanical ability, with a valid driving license
