About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and diligent individual to join our team as a Maintenance Assistant. This is a part-time, permanent position that will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our school premises.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the school are clean, tidy, and free from hazards. This will involve undertaking a range of tasks including cleaning classrooms, corridors, and communal areas, as well as assisting with maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain all areas of the school, including classrooms, corridors, and communal areas
  • Assist with maintenance and repairs as required
  • Report any hazards or issues to management
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient service

Working Hours

This is a part-time position working 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6am-8am.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £12.26 per hour. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a well-being cash plan and pension scheme (LGPS) and additional Lift Schools benefits.
