Job Title: Registered Nurse - ACW Dialysis (Acute)

Type: Permanent

Shift Pattern: 35 hours per week

Salary: £75,000 per annum

We are seeking a qualified and experienced registered nurse to join our client's dialysis department in Bermuda. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for initiating and monitoring hemodialysis treatments for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient and family needs, formulate care plans, execute interventions, and evaluate outcomes
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to discuss patient status and progress
  • Lead the team when required, utilizing clinical, hospital, and community resources efficiently
  • Participate in unit Quality Improvement activities and approved research projects
  • Act as a preceptor/mentor and role model for new junior staff and peers
  • Use equipment and supplies safely and economically
  • Engage in committees, staff meetings, in-services, and educational programs
  • Perform additional nursing and delegated medical tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution
  • Current registration with the Bermuda Nursing Council
  • Minimum of two years' current post-graduate experience as a Dialysis Nurse
  • Current certifications in CPR; ACLS preferred
  • Essential experience in physical assessment
  • Completion of a formal dialysis course would be a significant asset
