Cognitive and Learning Specialist Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Teaching Assistant to join our Special Educational Needs (SEN) team at Clarus Education Ltd. As a Cognitive and Learning Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the professional work of teachers and the SEN team.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities for individuals and groups under the supervision of the SENCO and teaching staff.
- Monitor pupils, assess, record, and report on students' achievement, progress, and development.
- Deliver after-school interventions and homework clubs, and undertake assignments under directed time.
- NVQ level 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification.
- Evidence of successful completion of specific training in relevant strategies and interventions, such as literacy and/or curriculum areas like bi-lingual, sign language, dyslexia, ICT, maths, English, CACHE, ELKLAN, and Zone of Regulation.
- Full working knowledge of relevant education policies, SEN code of practice, and procedures, and relevant legislation.
