Job Title: In-House Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced In-House Trainer to join our team at Catalyst Care Group.

Job Scope:

The In-House Trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs tailored to the needs of our colleagues and clinicians.

The primary goal of the In-House Trainer is to enhance skills and competencies, ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify training needs and develop strategies to address skill gaps.
  • Maintain accurate training records, develop e-learning modules, and report outcomes to leadership.
  • Design and deliver training programs on topics such as medication awareness, epilepsy awareness, positive behavior support, manual handling, and basic life support.
  • Support the development of clinician-centric practices and a person-centered approach, ensuring that training supports the diverse and complex needs of individuals in care.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 3 AET and evidence of delivering health and social care training.
  • Level 3 Assessor qualification, or willingness to work towards it, along with a Care Certificate or readiness to obtain it.
  • Experience working within a health and social care setting, including delivering and assessing the Care Certificate.
  • Valid Train the Trainer certification in core subjects would be advantageous.
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, autism, or learning disabilities is a plus.
