We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at the luxurious "Sloane" hotel in Chelsea. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Run sold room reports, verify room status, address discrepancies, and prioritize room cleaning.
  • Assist housekeeping management in overseeing daily activities and coordinating efforts between departments.
  • Document and resolve discrepancies with the Front Desk and manage room assignment changes.
  • Communicate issues to the next shift and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a Team Leader or Housekeeping Supervisory role within a 5-star property is highly advantageous.
  • Proficient in computer software systems, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Guestline or the implementation of a property management system is valued but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
