At Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to fill a challenging vacancy for an Advanced Specialist in our Head and Neck service. As part of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to work with adults who have acquired disorders of swallowing and communication secondary to Head and Neck Cancer and its treatment.

We offer a comprehensive range of services at our state-of-the-art facilities, including expert ENT/Head and Neck Speech and Language Therapy. Our team consists of 26 highly skilled professionals who contribute to regional and national groups, guide local and national practices, and engage in research projects. We foster a culture of collaboration, quality improvement, and peer support, ensuring that our staff members grow professionally and personally.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, specialist service to adult inpatients and outpatients referred mainly from the ENT, Oro-Maxillo-Facial Surgery, and Oncology departments. You will also contribute to the development of expert ENT/Head and Neck Speech and Language Therapy services, collaborate on planning and delivering training to the wider MDT, and participate in regular team meetings and continuing professional development opportunities.

The estimated salary for this position is £53,000 per annum. With your extensive experience and advanced qualifications, you will be well-compensated for your hard work and dedication.
