Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Micheldever Tyres. As an HR Advisor, you will provide administrative and advisory support to our business areas, including Retail, Wholesale, and Logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including updating and maintaining HR databases and files.
  • Support the HR Business Partners with Employment Relations (ER) case management and attend ER hearings.
  • Input employee data, such as new starters, leavers, and employee changes, and set up and maintain employee files.
  • Produce new starter documentation and letters relating to ER cases.
  • Monitor and liaise with new starters to ensure timely return of contractual documentation and forms, escalating non-compliance to the HR Business Partners if necessary.
  • Liaise with Payroll regarding contractual changes, including starters, leavers, changes to pay and hours of work, and bonus payments.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a HR Advisor in an ER advisory capacity.
  • Knowledge of Employment Law.
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
  • A CIPD Level 3 qualification.
