Job Description for Senior Support Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Support Worker at a leading care home in the Diss, Ipswich area. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional care and support to residents.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Support Worker to work on nights shifts. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for recognizing and facilitating the daily needs of residents, conducting formal supervisions and appraisals, contributing to care planning and coaching support workers, and taking an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of working in a care setting, possess good verbal and written communication skills, and have a genuine desire to care for others. In return, we offer an excellent salary of £26,208 per annum, paid mileage at 25p per mile (T&C's apply), pension scheme, comprehensive induction and paid training programme with career prospects, enhanced rates for bank holidays, recognition schemes, paid breaks, uniform provided, refer a friend scheme, costs for an enhanced DBS, and rewards for years of service.

To be considered for this position, you must have an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent. The successful candidate will also receive regular feedback and opportunities for professional development.
