About the Role

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking an exceptional CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist to join our esteemed team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and mentorship to ensure a person-centred environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to the multidisciplinary team to ensure a cohesive and effective service.
  2. Risk Assessment and Management: Adhere to risk assessment protocols and manage risks within our service to ensure patient safety.
  3. Patient Treatment Plans: Develop and implement patient treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  4. Psychological Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct psychological assessments, diagnoses, and follow-up of outpatients.
  5. Medication Management: Prescribe medication, monitor, and stabilise medication for patients.
  6. Team Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration, consistency, and continuity within the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Recent experience in acute Psychiatry and relevant experience within a similar setting.
  2. Skills: Approval under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act, ability to work alongside and lead a multidisciplinary team, and in-depth knowledge of Mental Health Legislation.
  3. Education: MRCPsychiatry or equivalent with full GMC registration.
