Are you a highly skilled HV Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HV Engineer to join our team in the tidal energy sector.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced HV Engineer to oversee the testing process for wave and tidal energy devices. This will involve reviewing designs, ensuring smooth connection to the grid, and evaluating power output. You will also manage testing facilities and equipment, including high voltage connections and measurement systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide testing services for wave and tidal generating devices
- Work with clients to solve electrical or technical problems
- Implement equipment and systems maintenance plans within budgets
- Manage the operation of electrical systems
We are looking for a HV Engineer with a strong background in isolations, switching, and electrical project delivery. You will have a degree or HNC/HND in a technical or electrical/electronic discipline. You will also be willing to relocate to Orkney or work on a hybrid basis.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000, plus financial relocation/travel support, EV salary sacrifice scheme, and 34 days holiday. You will also have the opportunity to work on a wide range of renewable energy projects and contribute to a greener environment.
