Project Planning Specialist

A unique opportunity to work on a major London Data Centre development project, creating and delivering programmes over £50m in size.

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 basic + Package

Location: London (2-3 days in the office / 2-3 days from home)

Job Description:

The Resolute Group Ltd is working with a consultancy that requires a skilled Project Planning Specialist to embed with the client and deliver the development plans for the new Data Centre. The ideal candidate will have experience in P6 and be able to create and maintain robust delivery schedules with clear milestones and monitoring activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a robust delivery schedule for work activities with clear milestones and monitoring activities.
  • Work with the delivery team to coordinate work sequences with the total project plan.
  • Perform schedule monitoring, including identifying critical activities and updating functions for specific applications.
  • Review and analyse the contractor's schedules submitted for acceptance and provide recommendations to the project team.
  • Ensure the master programme is kept updated with any variations or approved changes.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in an Engineering based subject ideally.
  • Project Planning experience – Ideally in P6 but must be from larger £50m projects.

Benefits:

This is a hybrid role working inline with the clients project controls team which currently works 2/3 days in the office and 2/3 days from home. With a 3-year programme to deliver within this team.
