About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a Mobile Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance work on electrical services and equipment across a range of sites in Edinburgh.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out day-to-day operations, planned maintenance, fault finding and repair, periodic inspections and testing of electrical services.
  • Ensure timely information flow through the use of a PDA system integrated with a CAFM system.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of PPMs and associated work.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and senior managers on matters related to breakdowns, alterations, maintenance and technical information.
  • Liaise and work with specialist contractors as required.

Requirements:

  • Industry recognised training apprenticeship.
  • 18th Edition qualification.
  • Experience working in a facilities management environment.
  • Able to establish parts/plant/materials necessary for completion of tasks.
  • Flexible attitude to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and trustworthy.
  • Confident in communication with clients and senior managers.
  • Ability to participate in out of hours duty roster/on call.

Working Hours and Package:

  • Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 17:00pm.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Overtime available at weekends.
  • Salary up to £40,000.
  • Holidays 24 days plus bank holidays.
  • Pension.
  • Full expensed van and PDA system.
  • Internal and external training courses.
