As a key member of our maternity care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to women and their families in the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert midwifery care to women and their families in the community, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with women, their families, and other healthcare providers to promote effective communication and care coordination.
- Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives to enhance maternity care services and promote best practices.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
- Registered Midwife with the NMC.
- Proven experience in community midwifery, with a strong focus on antenatal and postnatal care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with women, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
