Food and Beverage Manager Opportunity at North Foreland Golf Club

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to lead our team at North Foreland Golf Club. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food, beverage, and clubhouse operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate bar, restaurant, and functions at the club, working closely with the General Manager, Head Chef, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Oversee cash handling, charge procedures, tip reports, and daily sales reports, providing analysis to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Lead and manage a team of up to twenty clubhouse staff, including recruitment, induction, rota management, and ongoing training to motivate and develop the team.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and events team to plan menu items, set pricing, and design menus for the bar, special events, and banquets.
  • Monitor the appearance, cleanliness, and upkeep of equipment and facilities, ensuring the clubhouse is always presented to a high standard.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to ensure strict adherence to health and safety requirements in the food and beverage operations.

About You:

  • At least 2 years in a management capacity within a similar role, ideally within a golf club or similar high-end environment.
  • You live or are willing to relocate to the Broadstairs area in Kent.
  • You understand the nature of hospitality and the requirement to work weekends and occasional evenings.
  • Have your own transport and driving licence.
