About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at BMRetail. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading your management team and colleagues in store, overseeing all aspects of store operations from stock to recruitment.
You will have the freedom to think for yourself, using your commercial knowledge to maximize sales potential in your store. You will work closely with your team, driving them to achieve their best and coaching and inspiring them to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by Example: Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, setting the pace and showcasing excellent customer service and commerciality.
- Drive Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, maintain outstanding store standards, and consistently exceed KPIs within your store.
- Develop a Winning Team: Identify and nurture talent within your team, providing training and development opportunities to help them achieve success.
- Embrace Change: Be flexible and reactive to change, working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with high volumes of stock and product.
- Compliance: Drive compliance within your store, ensuring that all processes and procedures are followed.

Requirements
- Store Management experience within a fast-paced and high turnover retail environment.
- Experience of managing and developing medium to large-sized teams.
- A history of successfully working towards and achieving KPIs.
- Flexibility to work a range of hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Experience within an FMCG or big box setting is ideal, but not essential.
