As a Bus Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation of passengers across designated routes. This position requires a valid PCV license and a Certificate of Professional Competence. We offer a competitive salary of approximately £28,000 per annum, depending on experience. Key responsibilities include operating a passenger bus safely, picking up and dropping off passengers at scheduled stops, and providing excellent customer service. You will also be required to adhere to traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures, as well as carry out regular vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records of journeys. Additionally, you will need to manage cash fares and ticket machines, if required. To succeed in this role, you should have good communication and customer service skills, a professional and courteous manner, and flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
