About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Clerk of Works to join our team at a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy in Hertfordshire. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that new build residential projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with building contractors to ensure timely completion of projects
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues
- Prepare detailed reports for clients and project managers on site conditions and compliance
- Organize snagging and defect inspections with clients to ensure high-quality finishes
- Develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer service
Qualifications and Experience:
- Desirable: Clerk of Works ICWIC accreditation or CIOB designation
- Excellent technical knowledge of building regulations and compliance
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to work under pressure
Benefits: A competitive salary range of £42,000 to £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus benefits package including generous holiday allowance.
