Job Title:

Data Analytics Specialist

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for supporting process optimization through the development and implementation of advanced analytics solutions. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering and at least 5 years of prior experience in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Link business needs with opportunities to translate into analytics language for data scientists and subject matter experts.
  • Drive optimization, testing, and tooling of non-complex solutions or site-focused problems to improve quality and response in real manufacturing environments.
  • Develop basic prototypes and concepts and support transformation into working, production rate solutions at scale.
  • Participate in problem-solving sessions with subject matter experts and data scientists to create and improve analytics models.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
  • 5 years of prior experience in manufacturing processes
  • Good analytical and quantitative skills, exposure to large datasets, relational databases (SQL), and distributed systems (Hadoop, Hive) preferred

Salary Estimate:

$90,000 - $125,000 per year
