Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to interpret financial results and provide insights that drive decision-making towards business goals.
- Proactively engage with stakeholders to understand their business units and impact on the wider business, creating an optimal financial reporting structure and supporting budget holders in producing robust forecasts and budgets.
- Provide advice and initiatives to support cost savings and improve efficiencies within the organisation, as well as growth opportunities.
- Ensure effective financial control of the business, meeting Board expectations and requirements.
- Work with complex datasets and systems to analyse trends and variances, providing clear, accurate, and timely information and guidance to business leaders.
- Drive performance by maximising value propositions for both G's Group and its customers.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the finance community to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the finance service.
- Be involved in finance projects, including improving reporting, analysis, and data interpretations.
- Support the creation of informative business cases and capex justifications.
- Part or fully qualified (ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in a complex commercial environment, including managing business risks, professional financial control, and creation of forward planning.
- Demonstrable record of budget management, governance, and ability to understand and interpret commercial and financial landscapes.
- Flexible and a natural leader.
