Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Homecare Support Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users, enabling them to maintain their independence and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to service users, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication management, and mobility support.
- Assist with meal preparation, domestic tasks, and social activities to promote engagement and well-being.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that service users receive tailored support to meet their unique needs.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in community care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in care and support work, preferably in a community care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts.
- Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle (desirable).
