About the Role:

Abatec Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Section Engineer to join a prestigious civil engineering project in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and identifying and resource materials to support the programme of planned works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of engineers to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Identify and resource materials to support the programme of planned works.
  • Identify and record Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and changes to the scope of works.
  • Write, review, and issue Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Produce a look-ahead programme of works and review progress against the programme.
  • Undertake security clearance due to the nature of the project.

Requirements:

  • ONC/HNC/Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience of working in a similar position within Civil Engineering.
  • CSCS card.

  • A competitive salary of £325 - £380 per shift.
