Job Summary
Clerk of Works position with an established Quantity Surveying and Property consultancy. This role involves inspecting and reporting on sites around the Evesham, Worcestershire area. A company car is provided, and business mileage paid.

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join Maxim Recruitment as a Clerk of Works, working closely with clients in the residential sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality construction standards across various projects. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential in resolving issues promptly and maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact with social housing clients regarding construction quality on site
* Demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently
* Manage multiple social housing projects simultaneously, utilizing effective time management strategies
* Conduct regular site visits using the company-provided car, capturing reports and photographs as necessary
* Provide detailed reports to the administration team upon completion of each inspection
* Maintain a deep understanding of the building and housing industry, with basic technical and construction awareness and competence
* Foster strong working relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and colleagues

Requirements
* Experienced construction professional with a similar background
* Previous work experience with social housing organizations or consultancies, or within the building contractor or housebuilder industry
* Strong knowledge of building regulations and ability to read construction drawings
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 360 (Word, Outlook, Excel)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail and good time management skills
* Proven client-facing experience

Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of approximately £42,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Other benefits include a company car and business mileage reimbursement.
