Job Title: Digital Solutions Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Solutions Architect to join our team at Leonardo. As a key member of our Digital Services team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing digital solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop architectures and design specifications for digital solutions
  • Ensure solutions align with our team's strategy, current capabilities, and technology roadmap
  • Provide input to technical Systems Engineering and Project Management to contribute to planning, scheduling, and costing activities
  • Be a focal point for key stakeholders both internally and externally to build confidence and credibility for the team and the wider line of business
  • Identify opportunities to diversify delivery of our capability to adjacent sectors and assist writing technical responses for new bids
  • Encourage Agile ways of working, coaching teams in best refinement practices, in both your own teams and in partnership with other teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on digital solutions
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies, including cloud computing, on-premises infrastructure, microservices architecture, and API design
  • Proficiency in selecting and integrating third-party tools and platforms
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in agile development methodologies and project management
  • Familiarity with security best practices and regulatory compliance in digital solutions
  • Ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions to business challenges
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
  • Experience in or working with Business Analytics and Analysts

Security Clearance:
