About Us:

Sellick Partnership Limited - Public Sector is proud to be working with an exceptional legal services team in the heart of Bedfordshire. We are looking for a Senior Employment Lawyer to join our Litigation legal team at Luton Borough Council.

The role will involve delivering comprehensive professional legal advice to the Borough Council and client department. The successful candidate will have a brilliant opportunity to develop their specialism with the support of like-minded people and an experienced team around them.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering comprehensive professional legal advice to the Borough Council and client department
  • Managing a portfolio of your own cases
  • Acting as a legal advisor to client organisations
  • Providing support and advice to HR Department on employment related matters
  • Preparing Employment Tribunal cases and acting as an advocate where required

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with previous advocacy experience and exceptional relationship building, networking, and influencing skills. You will need to be a qualified Solicitor, barrister or FCILEx with 6 years+ PQE.
