We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class 1 HGV driver to join our team at GI Group. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for trunking to DCs nationwide, with occasional light handball.

Key Requirements:
  • HGV CLASS 1 License (No more than 6 points for minor speeding offences)
  • Min 2 years experience HGV driving required
  • Valid CPC and Tacho
Role Overview:

As a Class 1 driver, you will be working with a global leader in parcel delivery, providing a vital service to customers across the country. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods, while also providing excellent customer service.

Pay Rates:

We offer competitive pay rates, with:

  • Mon-Fri: £19.27 ph (this includes advance holiday pay, you will still accrue holiday days)
  • Saturday: £21.89 ph (this includes advance holiday pay, you will still accrue holiday days)
  • Sunday: £27.38 ph (this includes advance holiday pay, you will still accrue holiday days)

After 12 weeks, the pay rates will increase to:

  • Mon-Fri: £20.39 ph
  • Saturday: £25.65 ph
  • Sunday: £28.51 ph
